Build jimstim couple of years ago and used it without problem every now and again since then.
Last night I was using it testing COP's and somethings gone wrong. When I switch it on (whether or not its attached to megasquirt) it works for a couple of seconds and then U2 and F1 start to get very hot and it stops working. Have been over it as carefully as possible and don't see any sign of anything shorting any of the pins. Any ideas. Don't know where to start testing

Re: jimstim problem
The first thing to do is to remove the CPU and see if that's the issue. Run the troubleshooting tests here: http://jbperf.com/JimStim/JimStim_v1_5_ ... ml#testing

Yep it looks like it was the cpu. Do you sell them?

I do sell them: http://jbperf.com/JimStim/JimStim_v2_0_ ... p.html#Buy. But I'm in Canada so if you're in the US, it will be faster if you get one from DIYAutotune: http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/jims ... p-310.html.

My bad I thought you were UK based- just going off this:

I'll try and get one off a UK vendor. Cheers anyway

Contact James Murray (jsmcortina on the forum). He's the Jim in JimStim and he's UK-based.
