Outlaw Opel Omega STW, world's fastest megasquirted car ?

Though I post this success story here as well...
Completely self-made CrMo tube chassis, interior, electrics, rearend housing, suspension (except brakes, shocks and springs). The list of self-made components goes on and on...
First ever test run on the quartermile was 8.5secs / 158MPH (255 Km/h), with a fuel map that was total guesswork ! No engine dyno, nothing before the first run. Only idling and a few hundred yards of under-2000rpm cruising. The only concern when making a guesswork- fuelmap was to avoid going lean. And lucky for us, we were at 10-11 A/F ratio the whole time.
Best time was 8.4secs, that was the fourth test run ever with the motor and EFI. Then we discovered why the car didn't run any better : The alternator only charged with 11.5 volts during the run, which meant that the fuel pressure went down and the MSD 7 didn't give a good spark. That's why on that 8.4sec run the engine only revved up to just over 6000RPM.
Anyway, this was only a test/tuneup session in preparation for the next season. When we get the alternator issues sorted out and the engine will rev higher, we are looking at low-to-mid 7sec runs.
EFI :
· Megasquirt v2.2 circuitboard, Extra 029y4 , fuel only. PT100 industrial temp sensor and 10Bar fuel pressure sensor fitted to Megasquirt. Serious vibration protection mods to the circuitboard. Innovate LC-1 Wideband
For the 2008 season : MS Ignition control, water/methanol injection, MS built-in standalone datalogger
Car:
· 1995 Opel Omega STW "MV8"
Engine:
· 4.6” bore Chevy Bowtie engine block
· 4” stroke Eagle forged crankshaft
· 6.385” Eagle H-Beam connecting rods
· Ross custom CR 8.5:1 pistons
· Mechanical roller cam, offset roller lifters, Jesel offset shaft rockers
· Pontiac Motorsport Severe Duty cylinder heads, 2.35” intake, 1.9” exhaust
· Edelbrock single plane intake manifold, disassembled/blocked/modded BG Demon carb as a throttle body
· 1600cc Injectors
· 2 3/8” / 4 ½” Headers
· MSD Pro Billet distributor, MSD 7AL-3, MSD Pro Coil, MSD Boost Retard
· Vortech V4-XX centrifugal supercharger, about 0.9Bar (13PSI) Boost on the 8.4sec run
