Jeep Willys CJ5 1974 - Brazilian 3000 Engine

Post by pellegrino »

It's a Willys CJ5 1974 with a engine that's called here "3000", it's a 6 Cylinder Super Hurricane with 184 c.i. (3.0l)

I'm using a self made MS1 with the SMD version of the MC908GP32 running 029y4 Firmware.

It's running wasted spark, with 3 Fiat Uno coils, VR sensor for the trigger wheel (60-2, in the front pulley), no distributor.
Monopoint Rochester TBI from S10 2.2, with a 90 lb/h injector, and a narrowband HEGO.

It's running fine, the fuel consumption gone from 3.5~4km/l to 8.5km/l with just basic setup :yeah!:

the first startup:

The car, running. It made it in 3rd gear:
