guinness world record with ms3pro

Post by motorstunter »

at the speed and wheelie weekend at elvington airfield I managed to do a new world record of 199.4 mph 320 kmph on the back wheel! and this was a full kilometer wheelie ;)

bike is a suzuki hayabusa with turbo charge cooled mostly home built running on e85. fully sequential with 8 injectors, 4 ls2 coils, and boost vs speed which is truly awesome! all controlled by the ms3pro.

That is impressive without a wheelie bar. I have now been 203mph on the back tire in the quarter but then again I have a wheelie bar. Does that count ?

Well there is some video footage, but still waiting for it to appear. On Facebook there are some low quality videos available so far. I'll get in some more details after work. Here is a nice write up of the weekend.

well tomorrow I'll get the gopro footage. Hope the guy who filmed from the side doesn't let us wait too long.. He said he didn't have the 199.4, but he has a very good shot of a 198mph run.

more details of the bike are: all engine work done by bigcc racing in the uk. pistons, rods, gen2 crank, hd studs, hd camsprings.
turbo is a garrett gt3071 with modified turbine housing by bigcc. bigcc header. charge cooled intakemanifold with 4 extra injectors, up and downpipe is home made by me. as well as the wiring and plumbing bit.

power output is estimated at 400 bhp as it has never been on a dyno. just road tuned using megalogviewer and tunerstudio.

I'll include the log of the 199.4mph run:

Very impressive and I can't wait to see the video.

But a comment on the log you posted. The TPS is all over the place, were you modulating the throttle that much during the run?

Yes that's the only way to control a wheelie ;)

Wow I'm an idiot. I read the whole post, but when I looked at the log I was thinking this was a top speed run (without a wheelie).
