the strangest megasquirted vehicle?

Post by ashford »

i have a piece of homade equipment that has been in service for years moving snow and such. it has 2 front axles from a deuce and a half, a ford 170 lima inline six and c4 trans. about 5 years ago i bought the last reman carb in the country( they get brittle and break) the carb took a dump last winter so i patched it up till i could squirt it.

i had it run fuel only till i had it close to dialed in then switched over to having it control the timing, i also found out this distributor has no mechanical advance ???? i got it all working well today and i don't think its ever run so good since the eo carb was on it 20 years ago.

the throttle body is from a suzuki king quad it has the same throttle bore as the old carb. i ended up going maf it runs considerably better
