'67 Charger 440 + MS3

Post by dpstark2 »

My Charger is up and running MS3! For the time being, it's set up as follows:

'74 440 block, .030 over
Comp Cams XE268H
Ross flat tops for 9.9:1 CR
Edelbrock Performer RPM heads
Edelbrock Performer manifold
TTI 2" headers
MSD 6A ignition with sad old distributor
Generic 4bbl TBI unit w/4x83lb-hr injectors
Toothed wheel on the crank pulley with custom adjustable hall sensor bracket
Custom in-tank pump and sump

I have an MPFI manifold and injectors to swap in as time and budget permit. I also hope to get the MS3 running the MSD box when the map is nice and solid. It's been a ton of work and troubleshooting, but the results are pretty impressive, even this early in the process.

Sounds like a cool project. You don't see many early fastback Charger builds. Do you have any pictures?

A few pics. This album needs updating: https://plus.google.com/photos/10426738 ... 6756383073 It also runs better than it did in the video showing an early start.
