Dunno if its supposed to act this way or not but I'm using HR09a, Windows 2003 Server on my notebook and the injector opening time shows up as 10.0 instead of 1.0 and the start up priming pulse shows as no prime pulse. In megatune they show up correctly though. Also had it on the runtime display screen and after a minute or so you could only see the bars moving the rest of the screen was just grey, after closing and reopening megatunix it was fine again.
Oh yes forgot its 0.9.3

Priming problems were fixed in 0.9.4. Not sure what you mean on the runtime display however. Try with 0.9.4 and see if things are better or worse.OpelCrazy wrote:Dunno if its supposed to act this way or not but I'm using HR09a, Windows 2003 Server on my notebook and the injector opening time shows up as 10.0 instead of 1.0 and the start up priming pulse shows as no prime pulse. In megatune they show up correctly though. Also had it on the runtime display screen and after a minute or so you could only see the bars moving the rest of the screen was just grey, after closing and reopening megatunix it was fine again.

All fixed in my local CVS tree.. including some others not mentioned, including batt factor, and some idle related params: fast/slow recovery time and closure speed an startup delay were also wrong..OpelCrazy wrote:I changed to 0.9.4 and the runtime scrren still goes crazy after awhile, will try to record or take a pic when it does it.The priming is ok now but the injector opening time still shows as 10.0 but in megatune shows as 1.0
Also added Q/W as hotkeys that do the same as +/- on any spinner/text entry (increment/decrement) for those who have laptops with no easy access to a +/- set of keys.
Fixed a bug in the cranking tab that turned off the cranking table by mistake.
Roving hot trackers on the 2D displays enhanced to use better color contrast and shading. (someone owes me $1000 for this asked for feature, but I don't think they'll hold their end of the bargain.....)
Added a top level menubar with speed navigation points to get to common places like VE/spark/AFR tables, file I/O routines (backup/restore, VEX import/export), RT vars, etc...

You did NOT install the runtime as told by the installer. (this is the most common problem)
Install this:

I found the cause of the screen scramble... Turns out it's a memory leak.. It's fixed in my local CVS tree, and the fix will be in the 0.9.5 release, which may happen today if I can clean up a couple more issues.mk2dubbin wrote:i also experienced the "screen blankout" issue on the runtime display. will try to get a screenshot if it happens again.

In VE and Spark tables, I can't seems to edit the 168kpa max value defaulted in MTunix. The value can't be saved. The kpa value set in MTune was 276kpa and that value doesn't appear in MTunix and it doen'st stick to the edited values.
MTunix 0.9.4
MS1 029v.
4bar map sensor.
Car running at 270kpa. atm with Mtune225p1.

This is because megatunix doesn't know how to handle that weird sensor your using. Mtx thinks you have the standard 250Kpa sensor, instead of the 400kpa one. I am working on a solution to this, it just takes a little time.Gokart wrote:In VE and Spark tables, I can't seems to edit the 168kpa max value defaulted in MTunix. The value can't be saved. That's a great news. Actually I can't seems to find the page to setup the sensor used hence having that defaulted values. So, it's not a bug but something that have not been implemented yet.
Anyway, MTunix looks great now and please keep up doing the upgrading to this software. Pity you since I'm not a developer and can't give you much help on this.

Feedback helps. I wish more people would provide it, as it's invaluable...Gokart wrote:That's a great news. Actually I can't seems to find the page to setup the sensor used hence having that defaulted values. So, it's not a bug but something that have not been implemented yet.

If your so inclined you can even donate to the project on the sourceforge.net site, it's entirely voluntary and I don't expect anyone to do so, but some of it goes to the EFF (favorite charity), a little to sourceforge and the rest to my pizza-stress-relief fund.

I have been playing for a bit a found two oditys sorry to be the one who finds things wrong but I found in the fuel parameters page if you try to do anything with with the fuel parameters they go blank and you can nothing with them and it coruppts what is already there .
Req fuel works ,PWM time, injector opening time batt volts,Req fuel per cycle all work but #of cylinders #of injectors squirts per cycle and pwm current limit do not.And all of the green select tabs work as well .
And the second no big deal thing is on the AFR page the map gauge does not work.

I checked here and that doesn't happen for me, but it may be due to the firmware you are using. which firmware are you using ?71jeep wrote:I have been playing for a bit a found two oditys sorry to be the one who finds things wrong but I found in the fuel parameters page if you try to do anything with with the fuel parameters they go blank and you can nothing with them and it coruppts what is already there .

Stupid tiny one liner that is preventing ANY textentry control from updating when edited. (+/- q/w Pgup/PgDn DOES work however) as those use a different signal handler.
Releasing 0.9.6 momentarily...
