VE TABLE GENERATOR, THIS IS A BIG ONE if possible.
Point me to a viable algorithm and I'll do it.

this generates a 8x8 table if you add the ability that when you import a .vex of the wrong table size it interpolates it to fit. mega tune currently does this so as a workaround, I generated the table in mega tune and exported the .vex

for a VE table tuner look at

http://www.megamanual.com/files/software/MST3000.zip he is no longer developing, if you contact him on biggranger@tds.net he will probably give you the source code.

I not sure if is possible but here it goes new ecu type auto configurator. Some think like taking the realese files for new firmware and that the programe auto configure and add the new ecu type :) this way you won't have to be constantly making new megatunix versions just for new ecu types what do you think?

You don't understand how megatunix works or is designed. MegaTunix supports other ECU's besides MegaSquirt so it has to prompt for the ECU type, primarily becasue MS1 and MS2 have conflicting serial API's where they changed/broke the api for some commands. Actual device support DOES NOT require a recompilation in most cases (unless new/special functionality was added), it's only the addition of text files. (Mtx) DOES NOT use the tunerstudio files as they don't provide the information in a standard easily parseable format usable for megatunix.

I understand what you mean i think i wrote the incorrect idea. But I am not going to hi jack this post can you please help me in my post with my current problem. The original idea that i mean was if we could some how make an easy way to keep up with the firmware realeses, beta etc. I want to try MTX but I think that it does not support right know the firmware that i am using And was wondering if something could be done so that we do not have to wait until new betas of megatunix to use the current firmware.

Since you haven't told me WHICH FIRMWARE you are using, how am I to check and see how hard it'll be to setup/support? I need a url to download this firmware bundle
