This may be just a display bug, but I thought I'd mention it. I'm running MTx 0.9.11 under Ubuntu 6.10 and MS-Extra Firmware 029t. I've been a MegaTune user up till now, but I've decided to give MegaTunix a try.
It saw my ECU and seemed to work fine, but when I was checking the Accel Enrichments page, I noticed it was showing up as using MAPDot. Now I'm running Hybrid-Alpha-n and not running MapDot for my Accels. So, with the engine idling, I changed it to TPSDot and the engine immediately started to stumble and idle like crap. I changed it back to MapDot and the idle returned to normal. Now, I didn't touch the gas once during this, so nothing should have been effected, I mean I was only changing Accel Enrichment settings.
Anyway, after that I plugged my old laptop in, which is running Windows and Megatune and checked the Accel page, and it show me using TPSDot, like I thought I was.
Which one is right? And why did changing my Accel settings effect my idle?

Odds are, it's a minor megatunix bug.
Can you give me a screenshot of the controls you changed within megatunix that caused the engine to run poorly?? I'll check against the MT ini files to see if I got some settings crossed..

That's a good question. When I built that tab I went by what was in the megatune.ini at the time in order to guess which whould be turned on and which shouldn't be. Perhaps jsmcortina might know which ones are relevant depending on which mode is in use so I can make things a little more intuitive.superpilun wrote:Should these be greyed out when not using RPM based accel? The duplication is kind of confusing. Makes it seems like MAP threshold is a criteria still, when it shouldn't be iirc. Sorry for being such a pain. I'm just really into this new software.
