It is available in the current release 0.9.12.
There are too different type of limits. There is the gauges colors and then there is the alert. The rings around are the alert; but I guess you would want to set the alert to match the gauge.
I do have them too low so I don't redline the car sitting there.

David,
Just downloaded 0.9.12 and installed it. It interrogates the ECU and starts reading the VE/Constants, the ECU Status starts running and then the program dies and give a message that it has encoutered a problem and needs to close.
HP pavillion Laptop, AMD64, 1GB RAM, XP Pro...
Any suggestions?
Kirk

Sorry David, I guess I did not give enough information. MS-I (PCBA v2.2, ECU version 8.1), loaded up v29 of MSnS-extra. XP Pro is the OS and 0.9.11 ran just fine before I upgraded.
I guess that brings another question to my mind, should I have uninstalled the previous version before doing the upgrade? If it doesn't matter, do the COM port settings get retained during the upgrade?

Uninstalling and removing all the old directories and files, then reinstalling got it up and running. I'll get to work on the alert ranges and post back comments.
Thanks for the updates and new features!
Kirk
Yeah, forgot to mention that uninstall of the old is necessary, as the file formats changed slightly.

The scalable dash - very nice and cool to have...it has allowed me to run different resolutions and sizes of monitors to see what monitor/resolution cobination works best in the race car!
Alert ranges are easy to implement and understand, thanks for the tweak!
Still got some more work to do on some gauges - I'll send you an update after I am done, should you want them.

Send them over, please be sure they are a complete set ,and for temp gauges make them in both DegF and degC versions.gtpilot wrote:The scalable dash - very nice and cool to have...it has allowed me to run different resolutions and sizes of monitors to see what monitor/resolution cobination works best in the race car!
