Questions specific to Megatunix - alternate tuning software that runs on unix and windows.
Note that Megatunix is obsolete.

what's coming in 0.9.19

Post by djandruczyk »

- TCP/IP socket access, current API is ascii based, usefull for debugging from telnet, working in on binary API spec.
- Graphical firmware loading tool. (done, functional for MS-I firmware only). uses the CLI tool I wrote for loading ms-i firmware, called "msloader", which is out in the 0.9.18 release.
- logviewer minor fixes (to prevent crashes)

can i request a thermo calibration tool ? yes its MS2, ms1 has the "easytherm" addon. Any ideas about this ?

I have to keep changing between MT and tunix for my purposes :( makes life annoying.

be more descriptive as to what exactly that you want. Easytherm is an external tool, which modifies firmware and creates new lookuptables. megatunix 0.9.19 includes a firmware loading tool that can load MS1 or MS2 firmware. as for the lookuptables copy them to the correct places and tell megatunix to use them (See Tools->Lookuptables in the menu). (C:\program files\megatunix\.megatunix\lookuptables (windoze), or ~/.MegaTunix/LookupTables (linux/OS-X/Unix OS's))

what i ment to say was table creation. because i use a MS2, MT can do it from within the prog itself, no need for easytherm addon. I couldnt find a way to create a table in tunix, so i had to do it with MT first, but tunix seemed to read / work with it just fine.

Be more specific, what kind of table? VE, Spark, AFR, Boost? temp? what do you want EXACTLY?

I don't use megatune hardly at all and when I do I get frustrated quickly trying to find the appropriate "hidden menu".
