Gauge Designer fails

If I save a gauge and reload it from file, all I get is an empty gauge, no ticks, no needle,...
Ubuntu 8.04 LTS, latest build of Megatunix.

Already had that prob on windows, don't know what it is ;P

define "latest build", which EXACT version?

IS this a newly created gauge, or are you trying to mod one of the pre-canned ones or an older one?

I'm using the .deb package.

gaugedesigner 0.9.18

I do "File >> New Gauge", design it, save it, quit and load it another time, where you only see the background and corona.
