WBO2 calibration - software or firmware?

Questions specific to Megatunix - alternate tuning software that runs on unix and windows.
Note that Megatunix is obsolete.

WBO2 calibration - software or firmware?

Post by StevenD57 »

I am running a MS1 box on a V2.2 board with EDIS ignition and I have what appears to be an unusual WBO2 system. It is called a UEGO 1000 and was sold by EFI Systems. According to the documentation that came with the unit, it has a AFR to Voltage curve that looks like the following:

A/F Ratio | Volts
10:1 | 1.396
11:1 | 1.78
12:1 | 2.094
13:1 | 2.26
14:1 | 2.5
14.7:1 | 2.57
15:1 | 2.79
16:1 | 3.09
17:1 | 3.39
18:1 | 3.69
19:1 | 3.99
20:1 | 4.25

How do I enter this curve into the system to make sure that the ECU can correctly correlate the Voltage to the AFR? I am using Megatunix running on my Linux systems to setup the ECU. Is this solely a function of the tuning software or is this also partially a firmware setup issue also? Can the MS/Extra code deal with a non-linear curve that does not start at 0V for 10:1 AFR? I have read through the various manuals and they seem to indicate that 0V should be 10:1 AFR and 5V should be 20:1 AFR. Am I misunderstanding or is this correct?
