Can't connect to MS2
I'm a turd.. I've tried several time to get Tunix working with my MS2 with no luck. Can some one point me in the right direction as a "How To." I downloaded the latest release/beta. When I open Tunix it searches for the COM port but doesn't find the one with the USB to serial adapter. I've changed the port from COM3 to COM6 and still no luck.
I need a broke down barney style steps so I can try this tuning software out.
Thanks Ryan

I just added 303rc1 into the developmental version 2 days ago. Unfortunately the dev version as it sits is highly unstable on windows, and not suitable for release, however I could send you the files specific to that firmware (no code changes were needed to support that version), so you can work against it with your current Mtx release. PM me if you want me to do so.

Re: Can't connect to MS2
Nearly a month later I got Tunix working. Every time I'd hook the laptop to the car I'd forget to see if I could connect using Tunix. I noticed one thing when thumbing through the tabs, Accel Enrichment does not show my range of addition fuel and mapdot rate correctly. The graph looked like I should have a bunch of enrichment going on but the PW was staying consistent. Little green dot was jumping up and down the line, I noticed the scale started at 2% and went to about 25% or so. Should have been from 20% to about 200% instead. Did I miss a setting for the range shown or something?
I opened the generic outputs to see how they were laid out and saw for my fan the coolant threshold read 1930.0 instead of 193.0. Are the numbers supposed to be multiplied by 100?
I'll play with the software some more when I get the chance. Was there an autotune function with tunix? I saw the tooth logger, which is nice to have handy.
Thanks Ryan.

I using rc3.1 with the 9.23 tunix. Give me a few days to come up with the screen shot if I can reproduce it.

Re: Can't connect to MS2
Do I need to add in the files you sent me or using win7 os? or should it work without?
Dumb question..? Where do I find 0.9.24? sourceforge only shows 9.23.

Crap, you're on windows. You'll either half to wait until i get the windows side stabilized, or use a linux virtual machine or native machine to built it.ol boy wrote:Do I need to add in the files you sent me or using win7 os? or should it work without?
