MSII v2.2 (code 2.886), was reading that as 2.86 before, which should be in the build, but if it is 2.886....That is missing.
You never need to copy anything to the ecuDef folder. If you check other and browse to it, it will be done for you. In the end the ini will be placed in the project subfolder projectCfg so the entire project is self contained and can be copied to another computer.

Why you aren't connecting, especially with a standard Serial.... I'm not sure. Especially if you are detecting it... Right now both of my MSII processors are on extra, I'll see if I can get 2.886 on one of them to reproduce it on my end.

Thanks Phil, not sure why it won't connect, I just got my MSII processor, so I went to the msefi page and dloaded the latest firmware and .ini, happens to be 2.886 at the moment. I can try it on MS2extra and see what happens...

I loaded up the 2.886 code and did reproduce the problem, it is probably getting all MSII not running extra. I should have out a fix for it tonight.

Hi Phil,

Has there been any progress on the MS2 ver 2.886 problems?

I tried to install tuner studio for a mate who uses V2.886 on his car pc. When I went throught the settings for the project it didn't detect any COM ports at all. It's running win XP and megatune works fine with the internal COM port. Is there anything that might stop it from detecting the COM port?

Yeah, it is fixed, along with a bunch of other stuff. I just need to get it all into a build. Sorry, that is where I keep falling off. I'll get a build out.

The temp. gauges and logging.
When you select celcius seems to be broken, I belive it shows farenheigt.
Or somthing else. my engine would be broken if i had a coolent temperature of 155 deg C.

Version 0.932 and prior was not converting the gauges to C, but 0.94 and newer should be.

The o.94 version has the problem, unless i'm dooing somthing wrong.

Hmm.
What dash are you using?
If you go to Project settings, is Celsius still selected?
If you change it to Fahrenheit, click Ok, then Switch it back to C, does it fix it?
Can you save you dash to a file and send it to me?
