I was playing around in MS Log Viewer while I was waiting for my tires to get changed. I noticed it had the ability to calculate vehicle speed and current MPG if you gave it the right information. Any chance this will be integrated into TunerStudio so we can have a couple gauges showing that information in real time?

Re: Features
Yes, it will be. Those are pretty easy.
I also plan to add some that depend on more persistent data like Avg MPG.
A VSS does a lot.
But, once the OBDII version is out, you can potentially get a VSS signal from your OBDII ecm.

Re: Features
Cool cool, the speed sensor circuit doesn't look too hard to build, I've always wanted to, but it looked overly difficult to set it up in MT.. Thanks.

Re: Features
Yes, I have thought about the GPS and would probably do that as a plug-in, there are sooo many add ons. I just need to find more hours in the day.
This initial version is mostly just a prettied up MegaTune, but there is lots to come. It is just time and priority.

Re: Features
AWESOME!
Can't wait to get some free time and try this new software out anyways. It looks gorgeous. Digital dash might be in my future if this software pans out.

Re: Features
for the GPS logging as part of the log - my cousin told me that he could do it if he sees the source code. He has some other apps that are working with GPS logging - so should not be a big problem for him to patch it in. Maybe it will help to make it live soon.

Re: Features
Phil, can you please give me some hints - so when I get the code for the BT/serial port init and reading from GPS (NMEA format) - you will be able to incorporate into your code or make it a plugin?

I hate to say it, but it will probably be spring before I get there
Reading the serial shouldn't be to hard, but the todo list is pretty long.
