instead of a custom.ini file I intend to make this GUI driven, but it isn't there yet. So, for now you would edit the ini file in the projectCfg dir. I probably should add support for a custom.ini file for until the gui is there. That would be pretty simple.

Table switching control is not activating in TS 0.97. The parameters for activation are greyed out. Even though I can select the mode of activation, eg: kpa, tps, etc., the setting parameters for the activation are disabled in TS.

The second tables appears to be present but altering the values sometime returned back to it's original values. I tried a few times, and it seems to be consistent of reverting back to it's original values especially the load and rpm units.

This is with MS2-201.

Sorry I missed this post...
I see what you mean. It is actually an ini error, they used a logical and && instead of a single &.
I'll fix the ini for now, then I see if ken and james can roll the fix in. Or I'll just make it compatible :)

Thanks Phil.
I'm just letting you know of the hiccups as I use TS.
Of course you need time to rectify those and in the
meantime, I'm still using MT for I'm confident that
it's working right. When times come, I'm sure TS will
supersede the existing 'aging' software.

Gokart,
You had good timing, you reported it just before the release, so the fix is in there.
0.98 is out for download or auto update, and it is now moved to beta.

smolly,
I forgot about the custom.ini, but have put it in now. It will be in the next minor release that should be out pretty quick, I just need to get one more issue resolved.

you just have to put the custom.ini in the projectCfg folder and it will apply anything in it.

smolly,
I just put out 0.981 for auto update and download. You can click "Check For Update" on the help menu.

and you should be good for putting your custom.ini file in the projectCfg folder in your project.

Hello Phil,

If the custom.ini file is in the projectCfg folder, it is not possible to load the project. (the custom.ini is working for MT and just copied)

smolly,
I realized there was a problem there last night, and put the fix in 0.982. Try a "Check for Updates " from the help menu. 0.982 should have custom ini fixed :)

Hello Phil,

It is not working with v0.982, but i've tried to solve it by editting the custom.ini.
And when this part is removed it works:

#unset AUTOMARK_LOGGING_FEATURES
#if AUTOMARK_LOGGING_FEATURES
[OutputChannels]
; Make up some variable names...
highLoad = { rpm >= 3500 && throttle >= 50 }
enable = { rpm >= 2000 }

[Datalog]
enableWrite = enable ; Log entries are only written when the variable
; "enable" is true, see it's definition above.

markOnTrue = highLoad ; A datalog marker is written when "highLoad"
; transitions from false to true. The marker
; looks like "MARK 001 highLoad" to distinguish
; it from the manual markers.

#endif

Thx,
Roger

Sorry, I see what happened. I only tested with my own custom.ini, I didn't use the one that is with MegaTune.... I see an interesting aspect of that snippet.

The if/else logic is out side the ini sections. In other words, I guess MegaTune applies the if/else logic before getting the sections. So in the above snippet the whole section is not loaded unless the condition is set. So TS doesn't really support putting a whole ini section in a if/else block. This may be as simple as changing the order I do it.

On the latest release (0.982.3), I have changed the order, so if/else logic is applied before sections are made, so it will work with the standard MegaTune custom.ini.
