MS2 Extra 2.0.1 has the same signature as 2.0.0 as the ini didn't change, so that should be good.
What type of serial cable are you using? Standard, usb converter, PCMCIA converter...
What OS are you running?
Are you connecting with any other tuning software?
You can email the TunerStudioLogFile.txt to me at p_tobin@yahoo.com
Please don't assume it is your fault just because you are new to MS. Everyday there are lots of new people, an awful lot of time can be saved if the software works for them without having to troubleshoot it

- Ok, thanks...
I'm connected with a straight through DB9 cable.
My OS is Windows 2000.
I am currently using Megatune 2.25 P3.
I went ahead and emailed my log file.

kjin,
Thanks for the log file. That tells the story. Your clock is wrong. Your computer seems to be under the impression it is Nov 25, 2001.
Correct your clock and things will work.

Re: TunerStudioMS (v0.98) Beta released
Wow, thanks for the tip. I believe that could be related to some other problems I've been having too. I guess, I should have updated the clock when I first bought this computer...
Re: TunerStudioMS (v0.98) Beta released
Hey guys, this is a great piece of software. I have been playing around with it a little and found many features I like. I just have a couple of issues.
For one, I noticed that the ego volts readout ranging all the way to 20 volts! How can this be? I am only using a narrow band.
Secondly, My new maps don't seem stay sometime when I try to burn my changes to the controller and after I cycle the ignition.
Thanks

What dashboard are you using? What firmware?I noticed that the ego volts readout ranging all the way to 20 volts!
All the dashboards packaged with the app except the Default dash have AFR gauges instead of ego Volt, but the app is supposed to be swapping it out if you are in Narrowband mode. It sounds as though it isn't getting swapped out.
What firmware? My new maps don't seem stay sometime when I try to burn my changes to the controller and after I cycle the ignition.
Did you see the message "Write Complete" in the bottom left status box before disconnecting?
What type of a connection are you using?

Re: TunerStudioMS (v0.98) Beta released
I apologize for the delayed response, I've been very busy lately. In reference to my ego volts, I'm using the MSII analog bar dash and my firmware is msii extra 2.0.1. I checked my eg.o2 settings but I will recheck my property settings.
In reference to burning my changes to the controller, using a strait through DB9, I didn't recognize the "write complete" indicator. I will be aware of this next time I connect to my controller. Currently I'm having an issue keeping my coil pack and power transistor from burning out even though its wired to power up the same time as MS.
Anyway, your help is always appreciated.
