Getting a signature error....

Hi, Phil. I recently downloaded your TS and I must say, very nice, I enjoyed it that much I registered megalogviewer thou i don't use it much. I have been constructing my new dash and generally playing around. My car seems to enjoy the accel wizard, I have almost got my accel enrichments dialed. much nicer interface.

The first problem is when I open my Msq. I get

Signatures don't match
tune file: ms2extra 2.0.0
configuration signature:ms2extra 2.0.0

I went into my project, properties, and selected other and picked my ms2extra ini file. Saved and reloaded and still getting the error. Not really sure on the fix.... I think it only happens when I'm offline or not plugged into the car....

The second is, I noticed in another post that a someone had a fuel pump status indicator and other's, How do I make similair indicators, I looked at the output channels but I'm not sure on what one does what, is there a list what they do, is there a example of the proper code to go in the custom.ini file. I got the boost gauge custom.ini you made for a person, I corrected for my baro, and way to go, works perfect.

Sorry about the signature mismatch error. Some how on the last release I put a trim on the signature, so signatures that have white spaces at the end will give that error even though the signatures are fine. It is fixed, I just have to get the next release out. For now, you can ignore the error if it is giving the same signature twice like yours. It will not harm anything.

The Output Channels are defined in the ini file and are specific to the firmware. The MS1 firmwares all have an indicator by default for the fuel pump being on. The MSII firmwares don't. You might be able to create one though, but would probably need to know what port and bit is the indicator. You will probably need to get that from the MS2 Extra forum or docs.

thanks for the quick reply, There is alot of potential with the dashboard design and I'm sure there are going to be some really cool ones out there. I don't really feel confident messing around with my ini's yet, but I will slowly getting the hang of it.....
You have done a real great job and I look forward to future updates, dash's and gauges.

The need to mess in the ini's should go away over the coming months. I intend to put a UI for creating new ouput channels. The ini's are pretty powerful and allow for quick changes, but it is sort of like learning a programming language! Don't worry, I aim to simplify
