I just put 0.984 out for auto update, I'll have the installer out a bit later.
Here are some of the changes:
- VEX import
- Fixed signature error
- Added long interpolation to 2D table view
- 2D tables scale font to size, save size and position.
- Dash click only selects a gauge if it is in a painted region.
- Aspect ratio is forced on gauges that have fixed aspect like round gauges.
- Remembers Toolbar placement
- Comm adjusts timings and retries on page read failures
Various other little things.
I think you will find some of the dash change helpful in designer mode.

Re: Release 0.984
If a gauge is still getting selected when you are clicking on a unpainted part, look at your Gauge face angle.
If the color is transparent, but it is painting there in the transparent color, it will still select it. So if you set the Gauge face angle to the true area the gauge is occupying, it should work. Load one of the Analog Bar dashboard. The 6 gauges going down the right side, or the center gauges give a good example of this. I went through and set the face angles correctly. So if you click on the left side of Batt / Pulsewidth, Batt should get selected, click on the right side and pulsewidth will get selected. Or if you the bar of AFR, that will select verse clicking on the Map side Bar.
zOrder is over looked if the gauge is not painted there.
This really only applies to the analog gauges (Analog, Round Analog, Analog Bar ...), because all the others paint the entire area.
