Using TunerStudio with HR11c1

Using TunerStudio with HR11c1

Post by Gokart »

Phil,

I tried some test using TS with HR11c1 codes and I found that TS does not correctly calculate the load axis. Eg, in MT I have the load from 20kPa to 200 kPa while TS display that from 15 to 161 kPa. If I alters the figure to match the load in Megatune, save and open in MT, then I found that the figure is altered till 300+ kpa which is upsetting the tune.

Activating second fuel table act differently too. When displaying the 3D graph mode for VE3, the 'up' and 'down' moves the opposite way.

Just a little bug maybe. This is with the latest 0.985.1

What ini are you using in TunerStudio?
You are not getting a Signature mismatch?
Can you post the ini you are using?

I don't have your msq, but a pretty good guess at what is wrong is that you have a different MAP sensor set in TunerStudio from MegaTune.

Check in TunerStudio on the Menu:
Project --> "Project Properties"
- Click the "Settings" tab.

Check the drop down labeled "MAP Sensor"
If you are using the standard MS one that should be set for MPX4250. That should be the default, but I'm guessing that is off in either TunerStudio or Megatune.

I rechecked the settings in TS. It's fine. I've mailed you the msq.

I can't do attachments here for I've gone over the quota.
Actually, I had deleted all attachments and I still have problem
attaching files, but that is not TS problem!

GoKart. I just used the ini you sent me to create a TunerStudio project and a MegaTune project.
Both MegaTune and TunerStudio are producing the same 6 warnings on open and both are showing the the kPa from 25-161
Image

The 6 warnings tell the story. All 6 warnings were unit miss match for kPa, "kPa" in msq, "kpa" from ini, a difference of case. As both MegaTune and TunerStudio use the units defined in the ini for the msq and are case sensitive, it appears that MSQ was not produced from the same ini file or it wasn't produced by MegaTune or TunerStudio.

So, it appears that megatune is not setup with the right MAP sensor.

Re: Using TunerStudio with HR11c1 (Solved)

Phil,
I think I have found where the problem lies. In the settings of MT,
I have a mistake of not having the map sensor set to 250kPa.
I just got confused where the settings in MT had been done but I
forgot that I also need to change the parameters in the 'setting' file.

Thanks for your time Phil.
