.ini for MS2-E 2.1.0?

For discussion of Phil Tobin's Tuner Studio software (Only about the tuning software itself, not about how to tune or firmware features)

Sorry for the slow response, I have been away on vacation this week.

What sort of errors? I use MS2 Extra 2.1 on my main bench test unit.

I've got MS2 Extra 2.1.0 Beta 20090225 running on TS complete with my custom AFRerr gauge.

Do as follows (if there is a better way Phil??)

1) close the current project (Project / Close project)
2) start a new project (Project / New Project)
3) Type in a project name of your choice and now comes the important part
4) Do NOT click on ECU definition!!! Check the "Other" box, click on the "..." button, browse to where the megasquirt-ii.ini file is for whatever fw you are running, select it and then I recon from there on you will be fine.
Kind regards
Philip

Philip, sounds right for a firmware that doesn't have the ini included yet.

Also if you want to keep your current project, you can open the "Project Properties" Dialog from the Menu:
Project --> Project Properties

The click the other just as Philip said.

One other thing in 0.987 and up, if you connect to a Controller and get a Firmware mismatch, it will prompt you to use the correct ini, if it has it, if it doesn't, it will prompt you to to browse to the right one.
