No tuning after burn

For discussion of Phil Tobin's Tuner Studio software (Only about the tuning software itself, not about how to tune or firmware features)

No tuning after burn

Post by Philip Lochner »

Hi Phil

I also found that when I open say the WUE page, I can use left and right arrows and tune points up and down but after I've done a burn, I can no longer move the red dot. I then have to close the window, open it again and then I can tune again.

As reported before I also can not tune points that are not ON the map. Even a point lying ON the very edge of the map can not be tuned. Eg if the map begins at -10degC and my point is at -10degC I can tune the one at 0 degC but not -10degC. Changing the ini file to start the map at -20degC solved the problem.
Kind regards
Philip

If you click on the Curve graph, or hit tab until it gets focus back, does it work then?

I think it is just because the curve is losing focus and I am only capturing the keys at the widget level so you can have multiple curves on the same dialog or panel. I'll have to fix this though so focus is called back to the widget after clicking the button.

Yep !! Clicked on the curve graph and then I can tune again. Not a big deal then but still nice if retained "focus" after a burn.

I also noticed I haven't put in an ALT+B for burn.

Hi Phil

Using the latest TS, I recon it is still not possible to tune a point that is off the graph or on the edge?

If you click on one of the points, you can then use the cursors to move to the next point and then shift-up it will jump onto the curve. (At least I think that's what I did.)
Over the weekend Phil also talked about auto-scaling of the graphs.

You can also right click and set over rides to the min and max limits.
