loading large logs, low memory

loading large logs, low memory

Post by kritip »

I have a 48MB log i'd like to load but i get a low memory warning despite having large memory enabled. Javaw process is using about 300MB, but I have over 3.5GB of ram free.

How can I increase the memory available to load and analyse the log?

Cheers,

48 MB, wow!

I will be increasing the memory allocation with large memory enabled. but you can give it more by starting with this bat file:
http://www.efianalytics.com/MegaLogView ... gFiles.zip

Unzip it and put it in your MegaLogViewer directory, by default;
c:\Program Files\MegaSquirt\MegaLogViewer\

Start the program with that and it will let you use up to a gig of ram.

I really do worry about you :shock: Do you you ever sleep :lol:

Worked a treat, thanks a load! I pressume i can adjust the parameters in the bat file if i ever load a bigger log :)

48MB is large, its about 2 hours of cruising, but i thought it can't harm to have such a long long for some fine analysis.

Thanks a million :yeah!:
