Unable to open VE and spark tables in MS1/Extra MSQs
Got a bit of an odd issue: Whenever I open a MS1/Extra MSQ file, but not one from an MS2 variant, if I try viewing the VE or spark tables I get a message that reads this:
Error showing Dialog
null
That's all there is to the message besides an OK button. Let me know if you have any questions or need any of the problem files.

Can you post an msq that causes it?

i got that message when I was trying to jam an older version MS2Extra msq into later firmware. In my case I probably deserved it.
I haven't tried TS for MS1

Yeah, I stumbled across something like this myself a little back, I think it was when I put in the automatic conversions from C to F and F to C, but I thought that was fixed in 0.988.3. So this might be different.

Re: Unable to open VE and spark tables in MS1/Extra MSQs
Is this only when you open them without a project? That is how I reproduced it
interestingly.... There is a warning:
Warning: mapBins1 not in current configuration. Value ignored.
Warning: mapBins2 not in current configuration. Value ignored.
That is what is causing it... So I think it is related to the settings not meing set, but mapBins1 should be there with the default settings.
I'll look into it.

Re: Unable to open VE and spark tables in MS1/Extra MSQs
I see it looks like I am not setting the defaults... So SPEED_DENSITY isn't getting set and mapBins1 is never loaded....
I need to clean up the open msq without a project anyway. It should prompt you with the setting box if you are opening an old MegaTune msq.
