Tunerstudios and Warmup Wizard

Post by pinntd »

Hi,

Lately I have been having problems with Megasquirt not engaging Warmup Wizard on start-up. The car starts right away then dies. If the car starts again it will idle at about 20 afr until it warms up. This happens when my coolant is anywhere from 30F to 130F, and it leaves me with problems everywhere I go. It also occurs when I have tunerstudios running during cranking and/or when I don't have the laptop plugged in. It makes no difference.

MS1 w/3.0pcb (fuel only - only the injectors are controlled by the megasquirt)
Firmware loaded - 029y3
Tunerstudios ver. 0.988.5

Do I need to do something such as reload the firmware onto the megasquirt?

sounds like a "values" issue? are your WUR values 100 or greater? WUR values are not additive, they are multiplicative.

Are you sure your O2 sensor is warmed up and reporting the correct AFR?

I had this exact same issue http://www.msextra.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=30845 . Check the GammaE settings.

Good luck
