How to use Copy and Past for Gauges?

How to use Copy and Past for Gauges?

Post by wes kiser »

I noticed I now have a "copy" and "paste" option in designer mode. When I copied a gauge and attempted to paste it, nothing happened. Is there some trick to this, or is it not quite worked out yet.

The stuff keeps getting better every time I upgrade. Thanks for the hard work.

You know what is tricky with copy & Paste....
When you paste it is pastes to the exact same spot over the top of the copied gauge. So you don't see the original :)
After you paste it, try moving it and the original should be underneath it.

I will change it so it shifts the X & Y Positions of the pasted gauge.

Can I copy from the main screen and paste onto the VE tuning screen?
Kind regards

Yes, no problem, you can paste to any dash, not just the one you copied from. But you will need to right click and put the target dash in designer mode before paste will appear on the menu.
