Message after FirmWare Upgrade

Post by Stag76 »

I upgraded an MS1 running MSNs to Firmware rev 029y4, and I now get the following message when I open the project

"Failed to Subscribe DashComp to OutputChannel FIdle/Spark OnOC
Please Set to a Valid Output Channel"

The FIdle/Spark Label at the bottom of the screen is highlighted with a Red Border.

What do I have to change?

I believe you need to enter the 'designer mode' and edit that gauge.

What happened is, apparently one of the indicators on your dash have been retired in the new firmware.

You can handle that a few ways:

Right click on the Indicator that has the red circle and cross through it, select a new "Indicator Template" that is valid for your new firmware.

or

Right click, select "Designer Mode" change the indicator, or just remove it from your dash by,
right click --> "Remove From Dash"

or

Right click --> "Load / Save" --> "Load Dashboard"
then select any of the dashboards in the dialog, those will be for your new firmware.
