Copy and past gauge properties

Post by Philip Lochner »

Phil

Say I've spent some time getting a gauge to look the way I want, could I copy only the propterties of that gauge (gauge angles and colours etc) and paste it onto another or is the only option to copy the gauge and then change whatever needs to be changed?
Kind regards
Philip

Currently, it only copies the whole gauge, but tht is a good idea.

this is how you can do what you are looking to do though...

Say you want to apply the needle color of the one gauge to 3 others.

- Select the gauge with the color you want to keep.
- Press the CTRL key
- Click each of the other 3 to multi-select.
- Right click to and open the Needle color dialog.
- click apply

If you multi-select a group of gauges, all the properties dialogs will open up to the value of the 1st one selected. Then when you hit apply, it will put it on all of them.

So once the set is selected, just keep opening any settings you want to apply to all the rest.
