Ecu will not go online

Ecu will not go online

Post by Mario »

I couldn't get my computer to connect to the ecu all day? Pretty out of the blue and hasn't happened before. In the project menu it finds it just fine but in settings it hangs and will not allow me to go online.

Check your settings under the Communications menu, it looks like there no port assigned.

Each time I try to assign a port (the one that it finds in project settings) it hangs and the little blue scroll bar just keeps going. And then I can't do anything else. I had to use megatune, AAhhhhh

I had to use megatune
Ouch :)

Have you tried to create a new project?

If that does fix it, I would be very interested in seeing the project that isn't working. If you could zip the whole folder leaving out the log files, then send it to me, it would be much appreciated. p_tobin <at> yahoo. com

Well that did the trick! I'll send over the zip.

Thanks for the zip, I see what happened. It looks like you may have changed the project folder, thus project name and it made it loose comm settings.

That is a bug, you should be able to change the project name / folder name. I have fixed that for the next release.

You're good. I did change the name, I added a space :) I almost changed it back but thought "no, that can't be why". Thanks.
