Reset Req_fuel in VE table?

Reset Req_fuel in VE table?

Post by Philip Lochner »

Last night I was tuning MS2 RC3 2.1.0 on my Jag having changed from "dont mulitply MAP" to "muliply map" and ran out of VE table values (<255) due to the small req_fuel value I was using. This called for increasing my Req_fuel value and the corresponding change to the entire VE table.

For the first time ever, I used the "Reset req_fuel" feature in MT (which changed the VE table but did not burn the new Req_fuel value in "engine constants" - which I had to then do manually)

This feature does not exist in TS? Is the idea to do it manually with the math buttons available?
Kind regards

It sounds like a bundling of regular actions in MT. It sounds like a sensible idea, but to be honest I never saw it, never heard of it so never built it. I'll put it on the list though.

There is an option to update the req_fule, but due to an MT limitation that only works if the VE table is on the same page as the req fuel, so it is really just a way to simplify the math for you.
Current req_fuel: 6
new req_fule:5

it scales the table by 6/5 or multiply by 1.2
