Have to click in history tell tale box

Post by Philip Lochner »

Hi Phil

Something odd....

On my desktop PC, when I open the history tell tale menu, the cursor is already inside the box waiting for text. (VERY Nice feature this!!!)

On my notebook, also running XP, I first have to click inside the text box with the mouse before it will accept text.

Any ideas?
Kind regards
Philip

I'm guessing that something else is getting focus, maybe one of the buttons?

I'm not sure why. I just checked and it is requesting focus to the text box in the code. I can probably move that request to just after the box is made visible and it would make it a step more sure to happen?

This is a commonly used dialog, so does the same lack of focus happen for say if you click add a new dashboard?

Yep, same thing for add a new dash, I have to click in the box first before I can enter text.
