0.988.9 Release

Post by LT401Vette »

The primary new features are in the 3D Table editor. I have added several new features thanks to all the requests. This was sort of a side track from my list, but once in a while it is fun to just go work on something like this.
3D Table Changes:
  • - Increased bulb size
    - Bulb sizes and active / Selected Text automatically scale larger as the window size in increased.
    - Selectable colors for active and selected bulb.
    - User selected Increment by with CTRL key.
    - Added Shift + Left/Right arrows to increase and decrease.
    - Adjustable Z Scale. to increase the height or flatten the tables view.
    - Increment All Active Cells - This is off by default, but if on this only effects adjustments made when connected to a Controller and in Follow Mode. With these conditions met, increments of Z values will be applied to all table values that are currently active with a weight above the set value. This allows adjusting up to 4 table values at once if they are close enough to the active point. If off, only the selected point will be adjusted.
    - Weighting adjustment - for Increment all Active Cells
    - Toggle display of floating X, Y & Z selected / Active values.
    - The beginnings of an actual help file for the 3D tuning table, 2D table and Curves are coming..
Beyond that, I did a lot of going through and cleaning up several bugs and inconsistencies.
- VEX Export of spark and AFR tables was loosing the decimal values.
- Comm port was getting lost if you changed the project name.
- Open msq with a double click or without a project was working sort of screwy sometimes, hopefully it is better now.
- User Dashboards were not re-opening if several projects were opened 1 after the other.
- The primary Controllers ini file will always be [ProjectDir]\projectCfg\mainController.ini for any new projects or change of ini files. I was getting confused with so many ini's building over time in the projectCfg folder, it was hard to tell what was getting used.

I still need to spend some time looking at the Composite logger.

There is also some new MS3 stuff, but you won't see that until you get your hands on one of those :o

A little house cleaning is good, now maybe I can get back to the VE Analysis Live and Tuner Tab :)

Thanks for such a bad ass program!

Don't know if this is the right place to post, but
I was wondering if you could make the last used project come up
when double clicking an .MSQ?

Right now it just makes a temp with stock gauges, and have to open TS without
an .MSQ to get my dashboard.

Guess it's just out of laziness, but I think allot of people
would like that.
