Phil - attached - try to open Simple msq then PID msq and then Simple msq again - you will see that PID will remain set in EGO control.

evo828,
Do you remember what stage that Simple msq was saved? There seem to be several parameters not saved in it, including egoAlgorithm (Simple / PID). Unfortunately I can't see what the raw memory looked like at that time, but this is what is supposed to happen if the memory egoAlgorithm references was not initialized with a proper value, it will not save a value for that parameter. So it was behaving as if that setting was not initialized.
Was this directly after a firmware update?
Had you connected to the controller with the new firmware yet?

I am not able to trace it back to the time when it initially happened. I did the firmware update some 3 weeks ago - I just realised this problem later on when on one of the edite msq I suddenly had PID instead of Simple (and the PID was not working very well with Narrowband ego). I do not create msq from blank after fw upgrade. Anyway - the msq downloaded from controller now looks well "initialised" (attached). So I will be more careful when doing some adjustments.

Hi Phil

Just a reminder for the user settable tuning increments for the "basic" tuning (ie not using ctrl). Seems the feature did not make it into this release.
Kind regards

Good reminder... What happens is, once I moved out of those components I am working on completely different sections of the app. When I start skipping around too much is when I forget what I did where get into trouble :)
