TS does not want to convert SD logs
I was able to do this previously. Since upgrading to the latest beta code, I can no longer convert binary logs to MSL format. Beta 0051.001

That's the serial format not the code revision!keithg wrote: Beta 0051.001

Re: TS does not want to convert SD logs
I have had the same problem since upgrading to the latest code that Keith is reporting, but I didn't think anything of it and haven't gotten back to it since. Also I have to confess that I would have called the code version by the same number at Keith did, since it seems to be in the same place where the 46j (or whatever) was previously. . . Was 46j a serial format, or a code version?
Not that me being wrong too really makes anyone else less wrong or anything!

Re: TS does not want to convert SD logs
The one with the date/time in it is the code version. The other one is the serial format string.

Re: TS does not want to convert SD logs
Like Tjabo says, it used to report a version number in the header of the TS window in XP. Now, it shows the 0051.001 value. Sounds like it should show the version or the release date or something else more useful?

Re: TS does not want to convert SD logs
There was a minor change to the ini to support internal variables, have been looking to get VE analyze doing before a release but I have quite a few important fixes that need to get out. I will try to get a release out in the next day or 2. I'll just hide the VE analyze stuff.
BTW if you connect to the controller you will get the more descriptive string in the title bar. All that is in the ini is the signature, so that is what is displayed until you connect.

Re: TS does not want to convert SD logs
The problem Keith and Thad are seeing is something that I saw a few weeks back and actually turned out to be me sending the wrong length serial format string coupled with TS not handling it perfectly. Only realised that this is the problem in that snapshot while trying some things via IM with Keith this evening.
If my current XGATE spark code and testing goes slowly I'll likely put out a fixed version of the previous code snapshot in the interim.
