Yes Gokart!! However this is not TS issue but overall concept issue. It seems developers want to stay at fixed size. And then something like 32 bins is nightmare for non automated hand tuning! It is not rarity when VE rapidly changes in 200Rpm window.
Happy New Year!!!

Re: TS first try
With the capability of the existing TS, even 64x64 will not be a problem.

All very doable.

Re: TS first try
Some time ago i wrote in "table resolution" about this kind how user can choose axis. It is true - some turbo cars have super- flat tables, but some hi-rev street applications may desired by tuner high count of them due to reason what describe Gokart... May be train is not gone?
One more small detail. When I export table in MLV I give short name like aa. At import in MT was enough to hit Alt-F-I (import) and aa-Enter. It takes half of second. Currently aa is not enough: i have to write aa.vex or use mouse (very undesirable).
And question: does Compare Tune in future will allow to choose what parts to use and what not? Until now I used Winmerge. Programm allows to copy separate differences from one file to other.
One small bug: once difference dialog is opened no way to close it by clicking on cross or Alt-F4 (offline)
Gints

Re: TS first try
Today I played with EAE and cranking 2D maps, reqfuel changing. 2D missing two additional details:
1)no representation of chosen bin in numerical table: sometimes it is nice to choose desired point on graph but type its value in numerical table.
2)mathematical operations with 2d table. E.g. when my required fuel and VE table was recalculated, it was necessary to multiply all cranking graph values by 1.67. It would help tuning EAE graphs too.

Re: TS first try
I also see the lag in TS compared to MT. This with a core2duo, 2Gb, nvidia video. I like TS and appreciate the improvements. I just feel it should be snappier. Phil's efforts have improved it a lot recently, but I still wonder why it is not any quicker on screen refresh. Also when running TS, logging and trying to run the MLV it slows *way* down bc it runs 2 java sessions to do that.

Re: TS first try
That is the plan, but there are complications so I left it for a later releaseAnd question: does Compare Tune in future will allow to choose what parts to use and what not? Until now I used Winmerge. Programm allows to copy separate differences from one file to other.
Yeah, I need to do this..1)no representation of chosen bin in numerical table: sometimes it is nice to choose desired point on graph but type its value in numerical table.
I'm guessing you mean the Curve graphs as they are really 2D tables, it just gets confusing because the normal table views are usually differentiated by 2D and 3D. Anyway, that is on the short list. Not the next release, but probably the one following.2)mathematical operations with 2d table. E.g. when my required fuel and VE table was recalculated, it was necessary to multiply all cranking graph values by 1.67. It would help tuning EAE graphs too.
I have already been incorporating some of your ideas in for the next release.
