Password protection of maps

Post by mega_user »

Is there any way to set a password to protect the access to the maps inside the Megasquirt ECU?

You would have to write your own firmware to add this.

It would be easier to disable the serial port, I'd say. Of course nothing will stop someone who knows what they're doing from accessing the maps - including a password.

Hi!
There is some new information? Someone could do it? I think it would be very important to implement this function, currently I am dedicated to Tuneups of MegaSquirt and I would not want someone to change the settings without my authorization...

Grettings!
