How do I change the configuration in 'COMM SETTINGS'

Postby panel » Wed Jul 21, 2010 6:39 pm

I can't change the configuration in 'COMM SETTINGS' to just MS-2. Right now it's set to MS2-Extra_2.1. I just have MS-2 only.

What can I do?

I just finished responding to you on the other forum :)

It sounds like you opened the sample MS2 Extra project and it is set to open by default.

What you need to do is create a new project for your setup. So from the File Menu:
File --> Project --> New Project
or press CTRL + N

Then a wizard will come up to create a new project for your controller. Either Select the right ini or click detect.

If you download the latest beta (0.999.6) it has help files for setting up a new project.

Now looking at it, that word Configuration doesn't make it very clear that is the project or device name. Actaully that drop down doesn't need to be there unless there is more than one Comm Capable Configuration loaded.
