Request for All Ranges Up function...

Hi Phil....

I know and understand you are extremely busy.... But thanks a mill for all your work with TS...

I have been using TS for a while now and have been corresponding with many "Tuners" in our part of the world...

1 Thing has come up more often than not... From All of them...

That is a Function referred to as "All Ranges Up"... What it is referring to is that when active... All Value Above and to the Right of the current tuning point ALL match the Current tuning point Value and Change Simultaneously with Tuning Point value....

ie. I----------------------->

^ xxxxyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
I xxxxyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
I xxxxyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
I xxxxyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
I xxxxYyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

d*** I hope what I am trying to get across.... is working....

But effectively all the values directly above and to the right, follow the Current tuning point value.... Where you have already tuned being below and to the left of current tuning point being un-affected...

Apparently many aftermarket systems have this function and allow much faster tuning ability instead of having to go to the next tuning point to trim down values that are initially to high and then have to come back and re-trim the tuning point... again and again.. etc...

But thanks again for your awesome work!!

Cheers
Gordon.

That is an odd one... You mean on say a VE table?
It would be like selecting all the cells to the right wouldn't it?
What system does this?
Does it only adjust all cells to the right that are the same value as the selected cell, or just adjust all cells to the right as if you selected all cells to the right?

Hi Phil...

Finally can post stuff again!! woowoo...

Yes on all Tables, VE, Spark, AFR, Boost, etc...

As if you were selecting all cells to the right and above current tuning point, and making the values the same as current point.
But effectively moving with the tuning point automatically, instead of selecting & deselecting all the time..

Systems like Haltech (All of the even the old ones) Motec, FAST as far as i know does as well... + a couple of others..

Cheers & Thanks a Bunch Phil!!
Gordon.

On the list, this up coming beta cycle.
I looked at some of the other software you mentioned and did not find this function in any of them. Motec does have a "Copy site up and Right" that copies that cell to the adjacent Up/Right & diagonal. That seems useful, all the way to the edges seems less useful.

I just tuned an M800 and found that feature helpful only because Motec lacked the full copy and paste functions of tuner studio ms.
I was ready to save as csv and import into excel.

AWESOME NEWS!!!! :yeah!:

I Can't wait.... Will make the tune a lot easier.. in our respect.... and as per a couple of other tuners out there....

as for the other systems.. ie "Hell"tech the guys at the dyno showed me the function.. OK this was on the Platinum Sport 2000 (Their Top o range)...
I'll see if they would get me a screen shot or small vid of it working...

BUT ANYWAY!!!!! CAN'T WAIT!!!!! Will definitely make my life a lot easier.... I Hope.... :D

How can you be waiting in angst for such a silly feature...

But relatively simple, so it is in the next beta with a number of table tools .

There are a number of other things I need to square away in the beta though before I can release it.
