My idle advance doesn't match?

Hey team,

I was looking at my TS screen today and noticed my idle advance is at 9 and I want it at 12. In my 'Idle Adv Settings' I have 12,12,12.5 and 13 in the bins and have no 9 deg settings anywhere in my table.

I had looked to see if my pulley was matched with the 'Trigger Wizard' and I have a -2.00 in there right now. The weird thing is the the pulley and timing light and 'Ignition Adv Guage' match but not what TS has in my 'Idle Adv Settings'.

This has always worked properly only till the other day :?

(Running V2.2 board with Extra + EDIS and v2.05 of TS)

I skipped step three of this procedure? Could this be a fault for me? I was just using the trigger wizard and burning etc.

Really need a log to properly diagnose, but I would look at your MAT based timing retard. You are pulling 3 deg of timing at 100 deg F MAT which would be 9 deg advance.

I forgot I did that  I had a hard time starting it the other day and think the battery was low so I tried everything and forgot about that.

I thought below(from my VW forum):
Checked it out again today and I think I see what's happening now. In my 'Idle advance' setting I tried 15deg in there and now the TS gauge reads 12. I think it has something to do with my 'Trigger Wizard' setting of -2.00 degrees.

This seems to have shifted my table back a couple of degrees. Even at hwy speeds I thought I had more timing in my cruise hwy vacuum area and glanced down and it seemed low.

Could this be why? Would I have to shift my whole table +2 degrees to compensate?
