I am looking for some idea of what could cause Tunerstudio to fail to create a log file in my current project.
A couple weeks back I tried to do a log and I got an error and I just clicked ok because I was on the road and figured I would just look at it later. However, after that point whenever I try and create a log it will open the naming dialog but immediately upon clicking ok, it will stop logging. If I open up my datalog directory I will have a file but when opened in a text editor it will only have the header and column names. No actual data.
On a whim, I created a new project by reading the firmware from the megasquirt and I was able to log. If it comes down to it I would be willing to ditch the old project and start over but I would prefer to figure out my problem in case it happens again.
Any ideas on what I should check?
Existing project won't log. New projects will.

Re: Existing project won't log. New projects will.
For the time being I just created a new project and imported all my old dashboards in. I will add more info if that fails to work at some point in the future, and if so I will post both the current project file and the project file that is not working properly.

Check to see if Automatic Logging is turned on in that project with a stop condition that triggers immediately.
