Does the lambda gauge automagically translate typical gasoline AFR cal WBO2 output back to lamda, or does something else (perhaps the stoich is x afr setting?) have an effect?
hrmmm... that gauge doesn't seem to exist anymore on my current alpha firmware.
How would one create such an animal?
I'm looking to do some testing on E85, so the gasoline AFR is not ideal.

Always doing things the hard way, MS2 sequential w/ v1.01 mainboard, LS2 coils. 80 mile/day commuter status.

Re: lambda gauge
Since that is going nowhere, how hard would it be to also create an ethanol% calculator/gauge using the WB and air/fuel volume as GM now does for flex fuel calculations?
Patent issues? or too trivial to worry?

Re: lambda gauge
For the 1st one, most of the current firmwares do adjust for lambda based on the target stoich you have set, so in the case of a flex fuel, I'm not sure of the accuracy. That would be a question for James on what he may be doing inside the MS.
You should be able to calc the percent ethanol, but would need to know how much fuel and how much air is going in. So with a MAF and a MAP sensor, it seems it wouldn't be too hard.

Re: lambda gauge
"Squeakie" on my "home" forum was kind enough to share his lambda gauge creation/procedure

I have been trying to sort out a way to do like GM for the ethanol% via the WBO2, as the last i checked the ethanol sensors reliability sucked and they were hideously expensive.(but it had been awhile)
I broke down after discovering the newer/far more reliable GM MEMS ethanol% sensors are now going for ~$50ish new.
Should be able to install the coming long weekend and not have to guess at my reqfuel anymore.
(although that actually worked pretty well with EGO correction)
