upgrade from 1.3.1 to 1.3.2 wouldnt start

I just recently upgraded from 1.3.1 to 1.3.2 firmware. I did the upgrade and when the system detected ecu's it found 3. I chose the uppermost one, it was the first one it found. I chose that connection and the vehicle wouldn't start and had errors writing to the ecu. I went to the communication tab and had it find the ecu's and this time I chose the JCCxxx on com xx... the ecu wrote a bunch of files and the vehicle started right up..
My question is why did the first ecu found by communication not work. it read the ecu and found the correct ecu definition. I know now that I will just use the jcc? on com ? when it shows up. I am just curious. unit upgraded fine and runs great now that I chose the other com connection.

I can't say why there was a problem with the 1st. All the drivers should work fine. Do you know what the errors were?

I cant remember what the errors were, just that after changing to the other controller in the list of found controllers, the software started writing several pages and then the unit started right up.... Is there an error log that I could look for that might help you?
