AFR table generator

AFR table generator

Post by DaveEFI »

Idly looking at this, as I've not used it, entering the details for my engine it seemed to assumed it would idle at 14.7:1. But the factory spec is 14.1:1. The only spec given is for idle mixture.
All the other AFR generated seemed OK - if a little conservative.

It is not that uncommon to idle a little on the rich side. I would just tweak that down if you prefer. A little rich makes it more forgiving of AE tuning on tip in. But most OEM's do target stoich at idle these days.

Curious if the generator works for alpha-n set up. My intuition says it does not, but wanted to verify.
Thanks

It is really a speed density table. If using a % based load for alpha-n, it isn't too far out though.
