2 AFR readings from one LC1 sensor

For discussion of Phil Tobin's Tuner Studio software (Only about the tuning software itself, not about how to tune or firmware features)

2 AFR readings from one LC1 sensor

Post by Sam280Z »

I'm using MS3 w/ MS3X. I have recently installed a CAN-EGT http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/cane ... p-542.html. Previously I was using the LC1 analog output for the EGO input mapped as "Normal EGO". I have subsequently switched to "CAN EGO" in order to take advantage of the digital output. I'd like to compare the analog output to the digital output. Is there a way to configure an additional gauge in TS to show the difference between the two AFR readings?

I've played around with it a little, but just based on the output variable names, I'm unsure which reading I'm looking at.

You could tell MS that you have two widebands:- the first on CAN EGO and the second on EGO2 on the MS3X card. Plug the brown wire into the EGO pin22 on the MS3X card. They should read the same of course.

kind regards

That's basically what I've done. Except the LC1 analog out is wired to ego in on the main board (pin 23).

I set ego1 to "normal ego" and ego2 to CAN EGO1. I then mapped all injector drivers to ego2.

My question is more of how to map the gauges in T'S and can I get a log of both values?
Thanks,
Sam

They should show up as AFR1 and AFR2.
