Auto Tune & Narrow Band 02 ?
Hello;
I'm about to try out an install of a Microsquirt and am having some issues with getting the proper wide band 02 bung for my application so it looks like my wide-band install might be delayed for a bit.
However, the application does have a stock narrow band sensor. I realize that tuning without the wide-band is not going to be anywhere near precise but my question is, for the time being, can auto tune work with a narrow band 02? Obviously, I would not expect perfection until the WB is installed but, just to get by, can it work?

Re: Auto Tune & Narrow Band 02 ?
The only AFR you could possibly target with a narrow band is 14.7. That is all they can measure.
Find the Manuals up top under Quick links: Manuals.

It can indeed. A WB is recommended, but the Narrowband does work. For best results, make sure you have EGO correction on, that helps a good deal when using a narrowband.

Thank you very much - this is a stop-gap measure until I get the proper bung but I want to troubleshoot everything else in the meantime. Good to hear it will work!LT401Vette wrote:It can indeed. You also can mount your WB in remplacment of your narrow one. This is the same bug.

I must be going blind (entirely possible) as I can't seem to see any setting to turn on EGO correction?
Thanks you;

Re: Auto Tune & Narrow Band 02 ?
The EGO Control Dialog is essentially the settings for EGO Correction. Yours appears to be at the default settings with 15% authority. That should be fine.
