TunerStudio load warnings

Post by kevindawes »

Hi,

New to this forum and hoping to hang out a bit but first I need some help to get going.

Last year I fitted an MS1 system to my V8 3.9 land rover defender. I've been using megatune but now I want to use TunerStudio as I want to try the autotune function.

When I load my MS1 .msq file I get the following errors.

2 Warnings:
Warning: MSQ Units Mismatch for maeRates4! kPa/s found in current configuration, ms found in MSQ, values were not converted to new units.
Warning: MSQ Units Mismatch for taeRates4! Volt/s found in current configuration, ms found in MSQ, values were not converted to new units.

Note : The computer is not connected to the ECU.
base tune ag.msq
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Kevin, Welcome.

Those are caused by minor ini errors from many years ago where the units were defined as ms in the ini, but that wasn't accurate. This was updated in the ini that is shipped with TunerStudio. So now when you load an msq that was saved with the old ini, the units for those settings do not match. You should only see those warning when you load the out dated msq.

Thanks Phil, so if I save the file using tunerstudio will the error disappear next time I load it or do I just ignore it and carry on?

Yes once you save it in TunerStudio the warning should be gone.

It will only reappear if you load an msq that was saved with the old ini you were using in MegaTune
