Have any of you guys exported TS data out to Dashware to sync up with a vehicle camera? Looks like they have some nice overlays and seem to open about merging video with many different data sources.

Re: Dashware
I started using it last season. It can be a little tricky getting your logs imported to Dashware. Otherwise I have found it pretty easy to use and I like the results. Here is one...

Note: In it you can see ShadowDash running on my smartphone - really made syncing the logs with the video easy - and the EFI Analytics Bluetooth adapter on top of my MS3 box.

Re: Dashware
Thank you. You are welcome.
Here is an example of what I mean by getting TS log files into a usable format for Dashware.
This is a screenshot of a .MSL file opened using Notepad.
Next is an example of that same log edited to be usable by Dashware as a .CSL file. Note: I did remove some columns of data that are NA for my use, but that is not necessary and not what is important to notice.
This is how it looks after editing with and in my spreadsheet.
The editing removed columns of data I had no interest in using with Dashware and consolidated column title names into single words.
In practice I open the target .MSL using Notepad and save it as a .CSV file. Then I open the .CSV in a spreadsheet (I use OpenOffice Spreadsheet) and proceed to remove columns I dont want to use and to edit column titles to single word titles. I use this 2 step process because if I try to open a .MSL (or a .MSL that is just renamed .CSV) directly with OO Spreadsheet it is actually opened by the OO Document app. Going thru notepad first seems to alter something and it is then imported by OO Spreadsheet as (tab delimited) data file. The pass thru Notepad may not be needed to import the .MSL into other spreadsheets.
Note a couple subtle but critical differences in the original file and my edited version. The column titles are changed to one word (no spaces) for each title. If this is not done, Dashware will treat each word as a different column title when you import the file and you will end up with incorrect data under a title.
