Tuner Studio 3, new feature list?

Tuner Studio 3, new feature list?

Post by subwoofer »

Phil, you did let a few cats out of the bag in http://www.msextra.com/forums/viewtopic ... 22&t=57765, are there any other news official or otherwise in terms of added or changed features?

You know I would like to see MAF autotune. Another thing that would be interesting is a capability to connect to dyno control and logging systems for stuff like realtime BSFC display. I really don't know if the dynos support live data streams like that, but if they do it would be a good feature.

When will you start releasing public betas?

Actually, that post seems to have been TunerStudio 2.7. I think TunerStudio 3 will have even more awesomeness.

One thing I'd like to see is an integrated firmware loader.

I noticed 2.7 too, but I am pretty certain Phil said the next release will be 3.0. :D I vote in support of the integrated firmware loader.

Looking at the screenshot, I think that has already been done. Notice the +, - and x buttons?

Any chances of a Lambda Delay Table tuning feature as mentioned in the past? That could be very helpful.
Thanks.

With all probability all 2D tables use the same code (anything else would be silly design and a lot of work for no gain), so it is likely to be there. I just checked the current release, and there are no value manipulation buttons there. So by the looks of things, all 2D tables have now gained the manipulation tools we know from the 3D tables.

I really would like to have MAP as a trigger for SDCard logging so SDCard logging would start automatically when boost gets to a set point. Currently i can select between TPS and RPM, sometimes i rev high with only 10PSI (boost control is deactivated), and then i dont need a log. I just would like to have a log when i get a "Dangerous" Boost, like 25PSI or so.

Bumping this back to the top of the stack, have you got any news for us, Phil? What did you present at MegaMeet?

I noticed in version 2.6.19 (with a MS2) that when you set your project settings to use Lambda instead of AFR. That under the menu Accel Enrich -> Time-Based Accel Enrichment the live graph still shows AFR next to TPSdot and MAPdot. It would be nice that this would also reflect your project settings.

Thanks!

This. It's kind of annoying trying to remember where my project is actually saved when I keep loading new firmware.

File --> Project --> Export Project Archive

That has been changed for TS 3.0 to:
File --> Project --> Save Car Project to File
