unable to use Idel valve test with motor not running

Hi All using tuner studio 2.6.18 and run into a small problem
i use the fuel pump relay as a main relay this enables the fuel pump and also provides power for coil ,injecters ,boost sol and idel valve . . ie anything that has a high current draw is fed thro this so that it is switched off if motor stops .
now i know that i have used the test idel valve function with a previous version of TS . to do this i go to inj / spk test page
and enable test mode ,then turn on fuel pump , i then open the page idel test enabel the idel test mode and ajust the output and watch the valve open and close . repeated this the other night on ver 2.6.18 when in idel /test page the software did not
enable the test mode for the idel valve . i try switching windows from the inj/spk test page back and forth to ensure i was in the correct page , and i could not get any response from the software when in the idel test page .
if i opend only the idel test page then it would let me ajust the values but with out the fuel pump relay energised it will not supply power to the valve .
to get over problem i feed valve with a seprate power feed to test .
but i am certain that the above worked for me before when i did the origonal install and test .

just noted that when i open TS to check version number we have just downloaded the .19 version so will check again when back with the car

It is really your firmware family and version that matters here more than the TS version.
